Made in the hoop, these little purses can be used to keep coins or USB’s. Nice to hang on a backpack or use for organization of little items.
This is a tunnel book created with a JOGGLES frame and added washi tape ; this is just the beginning of the projectThese acrylic abstract pieces have been cut and pieced to a handmade envelope journal. There are many varieties of envelope journals on Youtube and this was my own version of gluing envelopes together to form a nice, stable booklet.
I created this journal on envelopes glued together. There are many ways to make the basic journal, and you can find hundreds on Youtube. I have added papers from the magazine Stampington's Somerset Studios as they always have beautiful paper for one to use. I haven't added any elements; this is just the basic covering of the pages leaving the slots open for use. The size is about 4.5" x 9"
I recently started doing paperclip art after watching Youtube videos about it. Lolly Palooza has some wonderful videos about this art. As I do very small creations, and mostly place them in accordion books, I decided that this was a great idea for my pieces. I highly recommend this art as although it is small, and fairly quick, it is very creative and fun.
I used a very simple method of starting off with washi tape and then adding torn elements of hand made collage paper. I added a die cut flower image from Altenew and some washi flower stickers.
I love creating very small art from which I put together small accordion albums or create one framed pictures, for example. Here the theme of lemons and flowers was created by using stickers with those focal points based on a textured background.
This was one of my first journals created on an old book. Entitled "Themes" as each spread has a particular story and isn't abstract in any way. The elastic closure was sewn with a studded elastic fabric.
I love these Stamperia stencils and created a second in this green and blue theme. The modeling paste glides beautifully into the stencil cut outs creating lovely, clear designs. Again, I used the sewing machine to accentuate the lines.
